1. Product Changes
1.1 Repeating Content Control (RCC)
We have enhanced Please Review to provide better support for users reviewing documents and to deliver an improved user experience. These enhancements include the ability for reviewers to comment and edits on Repeating Content Controls in Please Review. Authors are now encouraged to avoid copying content from duplicated controls for their reviews, and then copying back into Repeating Content Controls before finalising the protocol.
We have also introduced new ‘Configuration Settings’ and ‘Show Control History’ capabilities, specifically implemented to enhance the handling of Repeating Content Controls. These improvements contribute to a modern and user-friendly experience within Please Review.
Example:
- {Protocol Title} ← This is a repeating content control.
- We can find this RCC in paragraphs 1 & 10 in a review.
- It will render the same changes to paragraph 10 if there is a change to the control at paragraph 1 and vice versa.
1.2 Configuration
Please ensure you enable Repeating Content Controls before uploading the document to Please Review. This configuration only needs to be set up once.
1.3 Show Control History
‘Show Control History’ option will be available if Repeating Content Controls is enabled, and the paragraph contains Repeating Content Controls.
