How to Use the Password Category Settings

STANDARD password policy (default) requires passwords be at least 6 characters long; REGEX allows password complexity to be specified by a regular expression; NONE allows any password. Note: that the password policy applies only when users change their own passwords and does not apply to passwords assigned by the system administrator. |

Note: If you change the 'Maximum password age' expiry from zero to another value, all users affected by that password policy will have their ‘last password reset date’ set to today. This means that by enabling this feature, user’s passwords will not immediately expire. Changing it from a non-zero value, will not affect the 'last password reset date'.
