Using the admin category settings
Who is this article for?
Please Review administrators using the admin category settings.
IT access will be required to implement these changes.
The Admin category serves as a central hub for administrators to manage user roles, access controls, and system-wide preferences, allowing for fine-tuned control over the platform's configuration and security. This category empowers administrators to customise Please Review to align with their organisation's specific needs and policies, ensuring a tailored and secure document review environment.
Important: From version 8.4 onwards, Please Review no longer supports Documentum D2 or CARA.
1. Admin configuration settings
The table below outlines the configuration options.
| Configuration Name | Default Value | Default Override | Notes | Workgroup | Review Type |

2. Admin category details
This configuration setting permits or denies the transfer of ownership of a review.
- If set to permit the sysadmin, workgroup admin and review owner can transfer the ownership of the review.
- If set to deny, then neither the review owner, sysadmin or workgroup admin can take control of the review.
Note: If Take control of a review is permitted at the root level, sysadmin can transfer ownership of reviews in any workgroup, regardless of the setting on other workgroups.
If it is denied at the root but permitted in other workgroups, sysadmin will not be able to transfer ownership of a review in a permitted workgroup, but workgroup admin can.
Important: If the two Change password entries are both set to DENY, a user can only set or reset his own password by email link, so Send password emails must be set to PERMIT.
