Troubleshooting integration challenges
Who is this article for?
Users trying to troubleshoot integration challenges.
SYSADMIN or Server Administrators can check logs to confirm the error.
This article helps you resolve common errors that occur when integrating Please Review with external systems.
Resolving RequestEntityTooLarge errors
This error occurs when sending a document back to an external system that has a file size limit.
The error message appears as: Error when uploading ___ attachment. StatusCode: RequestEntityTooLarge
If the external system is .NET based, you need to increase the .NET limits on that system, similar to the process for increasing upload size limits in Please Review. Refer to the documentation for the external application or contact the team responsible for managing that system to adjust these settings.
Fixing workgroup synchronisation failures
If you receive workgroup synchronisation failure emails, the cause typically falls into one of two categories:
- The login credentials used for synchronisation are out of date, disabled, or the external system has been changed or reset without updating the credentials in Please Review
- Users on the external system have been set up with the same email address as an existing user, or an attempt has been made to change a user to an email address that already exists for another user in Please Review
If you cannot identify the specific error, raise a ticket with the Support team for assistance.
Resolving 'Key not valid for use in specified state' errors
This error indicates that the password for the sync user has not been encrypted with the encryptor tool running on the same server as Please Review.
This typically occurs when the password has been copied and pasted from another server instead of being re-encrypted on the current server. To resolve this issue:
- Access the server where Please Review is running.
- Use the encryptor tool on that server to encrypt the sync user password.
- Update the integration settings with the newly encrypted password.
