How to Access and Transfer Reviews

To access and transfer reviews in Please Review, log in to the Please Review platform using your credentials, navigate to the 'Reviews' or 'Review Dashboard' section, select the specific review you want to transfer, and use the provided options to export or share the review with the desired recipient. Accessing a Review via the Invitation Email
When you are invited to participate in a review, you will receive an invitation email:
Here are a few things to note about Review Email Invitations:
- Selecting the first link (6) takes you directly into the review where you will view the document(s).
- Selecting the second link (7) takes you to the Review Control Panel. You can enter the review from the control panel.
- If the link is broken or incomplete, you will need to copy it into your browser address bar, making sure that it is complete.
Accessing a Review by Logging On
- If you log in to Please Review directly you will be taken to your review inbox where you will see a full list of all your reviews (see My Reviews):
- To view the review details, use the ‘Select’ link. This takes you to the Review Control Panel.
- To enter the review without seeing the review details, use the ‘Enter’ link.
Note: if the review does not have an ‘Enter’ link it is either ‘Not Started’ or it is a multi-phase review.
Entering Any Review
This feature allows the System Administrator to enter any review without being assigned as a participant in the review, and without being a member of the workgroup. This is useful when investigating problems reported by users. It does not apply to Workgroup Administrators, only the System Administrator user.
Note: that this feature is disabled in the system configuration by default (by the entry ‘Enter Any Review’) and must be enabled if you wish to use it.
- The search results screen provides the ability to enter the review or to view the review control panel (i.e. the details), as shown below:
- Once you have entered the review as System Administrator, you can view the documents and comments, but do not have permission to make or amend any comments – it is a ‘view only’ role.
Note: this feature does not have any impact on the ability of the System Administrator to act as a review participant (Author or Reviewer) in just the same way as any other user, providing they have been added to the workgroup with the appropriate role.
Transferring Review Ownership
From the review control panel, selecting the ‘edit details’ link allows the System Administrator to transfer review ownership. This functionality is identical to the functionality available to a Review Owner.
- Availability is dependent on system configuration settings.
- The reviews may be transferred to any user with Author permissions in the workgroup.
- If not already a member of the review, the new review Owner will be automatically added to the review participants.
- The original Author will remain in the review as a participant but only with Reviewer permissions.
- Reviews which are completed may not be transferred.
