Admin access may be required to install these.
This page allows you to download the Offline Review Client ('OLC') and the Word plug-in.
These components run on Windows only. The documentation supplied alongside each download contains installation instructions and lists supported environments and prerequisites.
Note: This client software is optional as most Please Review functionality can be accessed simply through a web browser.
1. Prerequisites
Before either of these applications can be used, they trusted clients for these need to configured on the Please Review instance being connected to. The instructions for setting that up are covered in the main Please Review server installation guides and the Sysadmin user of your system would be able to follow those steps to ensure these can be used.
Users should download the latest version of the application(s) they wish to use. as they are backwards compatible, for the most part. In some rare cases they may need to install a version closer to the version of Please Review they are currently using, if they are using an older version of Please Review and the latest version doesn't work. If in doubt, or you do not have the information you need, please contact Support.
2. Offline Client (OLC)
The Offline Client allows users to download reviews to their computer for reviewing whilst being disconnected from the Internet, They can be uploaded later when connected to the Internet again.

3. Microsoft Word plug-in
The Word 2007-2019 plug-in allows you to initiate a review in Please Review directly from the Word document. Additionally, if you have a Contributor role (required for access to the co-authoring functionality), the Word plug-in allows edited sections of a document (Zones) to be saved or published directly from the Word document.
Note: The Word 2003 plug-in only includes the contributor functionality and does not have the 'initiate new review' feature.
These plug-in downloads are compatible with server 5.0 or later.
