Installing the Offline Client (OLC)

The Offline Client (known as OLC for short) is a tool that allows documents to be taken offline. This article outlines the steps required to install the Offline Client.
This is a free application that can be used provided the installation instructions steps for allowing it to work with the PR instance have been configured. Additionally, the PR instance would need to allow offline reviews in the workgroup management settings.
1. Minimum requirements

| Operating System | Windows 10 or Windows 11 |
| Microsoft .NET Framework | 7.8.0 and below - install .net framework 4.7.2 or higher. 7.9.0 and above - install .net framework 4.8 or higher. |
Note: We recommend using the latest version of Microsoft .NET Framework and also installing all Microsoft .NET upgrades available.
2. Installing the Offline Client (OLC)
Note: You must be logged onto the PC as a user with local administrative privileges to perform the installation.
- Run the Please Review_Offline_Client_7.x.msi (The file name will change based on the version of Please Review you are installing).
- Click Next.
- Accept the agreement and click Next.
- Confirm the installation path and click Next.
- Click Install.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
- Click Finish.
