This article covers troubleshooting steps for when the Internet connection drops when using PR.
1. Changes lost
PR is a web-based app. If users were editing or accepting changes during a connection outage and submitted only after reconnecting, their session might have expired or the server failed to recognise them, causing loss of those changes. They would need to resubmit.
This applies to any web form: users are logged out during an outage and must log back in, losing unsaved work.
Submissions before the outage or after logging back in are unaffected; only changes made during the outage are lost.
2. Logged out
This usually happens when, after a connection is restored, you are not recognised as the same user session. Factors include whether your IP address or network provider remained the same, and the length of the downtime. This is a common occurrence. Simply log in again to restore your session to PR.
