1. Changes to Please Review 7.7.1
Please Review 7.7.0 includes the following changes:
1.1. Simple Fields
- Enhanced support for Word Content Control with Simple Fields. Word Content Control containing Simple Fields will now be rendered according to the control's locking properties instead of being non-editable.
This update also includes fixes applied in recent updates and so you can directly upgrade to Please Review 7.7.1.
2. Downloading Please Review 7.7.1
Please Review 7.7.1 is available to all Please Review customers and can be downloaded from the Please Review 7.7.1 download centre.
Important: If you are running Please Review 7.6.0 or lower then please contact your account manager to request a Please Review 7.7.0 license file.
3. Performing the Update
The steps to perform the upgrade are outlined at How to Perform a Please Review Upgrade.
The steps will vary based on the version of Please Review you are using and what configurations you have implemented. The high level steps to upgrade are:
- Configure Microsoft .NET Framework.
- Backup the Database and Configs.
- Remove the Old Please Review.
- Update Node.js.
- Install Please Review 7.7.1.
- Merge Config Settings.
- Upgrade the Please Review Database.
