Users wishing to setup PR to login using Single Sign On (SSO)

This article explains Single Sign On (SSO) and how to install it for Please Review.

1. Single Sign On

SSO allows users to access multiple systems with a single login, eliminating the need for repeated authentication.

Common SSO Methods:

1. Specific Integrations:
   • Please Review accessed from within another system.
   • Uses a special setup for automatic login.
2. Active Directory:
   • Utilises Windows Authentication on Please Review web server.
3. SAML2-based Authentication:
   • Examples: Azure, Ping, Okta.
   • Involves certificate setup on external system.
   • PR config allows redirection to external system for authentication.

• Reduced login frequency.
• Unified login credentials across systems.
• Eliminates need for separate PR native authentication.

2. Installing SSO for Please Review without Mazlan Home

The setup process depends on your chosen integration method. Integration guides are available on our server download pages. However, bear in mind that some integrations may incur additional charges. Consult your account manager for details.
If we host your Please Review instance, your account manager will coordinate with our Implementation Team to schedule the setup.

3. Installing SSO for Please Review with Mazlan Home

Mazlan Home is available to hosted Please Review customers. The configuration of SSO an external login methods are all available in the user interface so there is no need to contact us to se this up. The user with the tenant admin access can set this up.

This allows SAML2 or OIDC based authentication methods as well as it's own internal login system, to be used with Please Review and other hosted Ideagen products you may use in place.
