Please Review 7.1.2 is a maintenance and feature release that has been developed by listening to the voice of the customer, with specific changes to Veeva Vault, PDF Redaction and Security.

1. Feature Changes

Veeva Vault Enhancements

We have made performance improvements to Veeva Vault OneWorkflow, particularly for faster processing of multiple documents in Veeva Vault integration, by reducing API calls. See the test results:

The test results show that the performance upon checkout documents has improved by 20%. Therefore, for each document, the average time reduction was 1-2 secs.

PDF Redaction Capability Enhancements

For complying with EMA Policy 70, redactions are now shown in downloaded PDFs without hovering. They also have coloured and labelled overlays, which include Personal Private Data (PPD) and Commercially Confidential Data (CCI). These are available when “Export redactions as PDF redaction marks (redacted content still visible)” option is unchecked.

Security Updates

jQuery Library Upgraded

jQuery library has been upgraded to jQuery UI 1.13.0 to address potential cross-site scripting vulnerability.

Spring4Shell

For Documentum integration, Spring Boot has been upgraded to spring boot 2.6.6. Java Documentum Remoting Layer has also been updated to 7.1.2 to address potential Spring4Shell vulnerabilities.
