In Please Review, feedback documents provide a collaborative platform for reviewers to offer comments, suggestions, and edits in a structured manner, promoting efficient document review and revision processes.
Using Feedback Documents
If enabled by system configuration settings, the Owner of the review can include a feedback document to allow participants to provide overall high-level feedback on the document/document set. Feedback will typically be provided by ratings and making points against a set of questions.
In the review, participants are presented with rating options, based on the feedback document. For example, clicking on the first option in the sample feedback document within Please Review displays the ratings available in the comment window:
Once applied, the category selected will be listed under ‘other selections’ along with any selections made by other participants and the results are displayed in the document itself.
It is only possible for a participant to select one category. To change the selected category, click ‘Clear’. All categories will then be displayed, and the user can select a different one. Note, the 'Clear' option may not be available if the Author has accepted the rating.
It is possible that the document is set up so that the participants can enter bullet points in free text.
Depending on how the bullet list is configured, it may also be possible for participants to ‘Agree’ or ‘Disagree’ with bullet points made by other participants:
Note: Feedback documents are presented in the classic interface only. The feedback document can be opened in a new window by clicking on the icon in the navigation pane.
